Our restaurant

To serve oneself from the organic lunch buffet with either a hearty or light appetite at noon, or to leisurely take a seat at the table in the evening and enjoy the à la carte selection.


Since the redesign of our dining area, the focus on the most important aspect has become even clearer: organic ingredients and their preparation in the open kitchen.


In addition to seasonal and local vegetables, carefully sourced meat and fish products from humane farming practices make their way onto the plate. We emphasize a holistic use of animal products following the Nose-to-Tail principle. Additionally, both the buffet and the menu offer a wide range of vegetarian and vegan options.


For us, sustainability is neither a trend nor a goal that is eventually achieved. The Fürstenfelder Küche has been organic certified since 2003.



We have been awarded with the green Michelin star, which is given to restaurants with a particularly sustainable orientation.


The "Slow Food Genussführer" exclusively recommends establishments that are committed to the fundamental principles of "good, clean, and fair" as advocated by Slow Food. This includes a commitment to regional competence among other aspects.

Kitchen and guestroom

As well as using fresh, seasonal organic products sourced from regional growers, it is vital to us that our kitchen team enjoys working together and is allowed the scope to try out new things. We’re always adding new creations to our crossover menu card – everything from Alpine to oriental, from vegan to Bavarian pork roast.

The guestroom of the restaurant, under cross vaulted ceiling in what would have been the monastery’s cattle shed, is furnished simply and elegantly and features columns, plenty of light and plants to bring in an element of nature. Quiet alcoves provide a more intimate eating experience, while the main dining area features long or round tables for social gatherings with friends, families and colleagues. The large outdoor terrace is perfect for al fresco dining whenever the weather allows.

LUNCH BUFFET TO GO

Our buffet is now available to take away. You can take your lunch with you in the pretty Rebowl bowls or sit outside under the chestnuts.

A large Rebowl filled by you at the organic lunch buffet costs € 14,50, the smaller version € 6,00.
There is a € 5,00 deposit per bowl, the return is possible with us and many other partners.

Organic Sunday brunch

Feast your way through our lovingly presented buffet offering croissants, muesli, fruit, fresh egg dishes, Bavarian Weisswurst (white sausage), a large selection of starters, soup and at least four main courses – one of which is freshly prepared or carved before your very eyes at the buffet table. Our delicious bakery treats are made in house.

€ 47.00 per person including sparkling wine, organic fruit juices, water and coffee (Children from 3 to 6 years pay € 2,50 per year of age and 7-12 year olds eat for half price)

Brunch dates with extra charge on the following dates: Easter € 55.00 and Christmas for € 60.00 per person

What can you expect at our KITCHENPARTY?

A multi-course dinner accompanied by a discussion with experts on a culinary-sustainable topic that you will also find on your plate - whether game, potatoes, vegan cuisine or wine.

"Party" because these evenings in our open kitchen give everyone the casual opportunity to talk to each other, learn new things and share them with others.
In 2019 we started the event series and are very happy that the KITCHENPARTYS are so well received by you!

Gartentage
From May 17 - 20, 2024 we will be open from 11.30 am - 7 pm. Due to the Gartentag, the grounds are only accessible with admission.

Summer holidays
From July 29, 2024, until August 30, 2024, our restaurant will open from Tuesday to Friday starting at 5:30 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, we'll be available as usual. Monday will remain closed.
During this period, our beer garden will open at 11 a.m. when the weather is nice.

Beergarden:
In fair weather, we open our beer garden on Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays from 12:00 p.m., and on weekdays from 2:00 p.m.

Vouchers are available on site in our restaurant during our opening hours and we are also happy to send vouchers by post, please let us know your address and the desired voucher by mail (info@fuerstenfelder.com). You can choose between a brunch voucher or a value voucher.

You will then receive a payment link, after payment we will send the voucher to you immediately.

Too Good To Go

Food waste in the restaurant industry is a complicated issue: once food has been recycled, it can no longer be given away, for example to food banks. Because we value food, we are happy to be a part of the "Too Good To Go" family from now on. With the app, you can save overproduced food from the garbage can at low prices in restaurants and stores - including ours!

We're happy when less is left over, you enjoy delicious food from our organic buffet, and together we take a stand against food waste.
